From Window Shopping to GO TIME

If you are casually in the market for a new home and the perfect one just so happens to pop up, do you have a game plan? Are you ready to move on it as fast as you need to?

As your Trusted, Proactive, Advisor - it’s my responsibility to help guide through through the entire process from “What the heck am I doing?” to putting the key in the door for the first time.

Just a few important initial steps to consider before “The One” comes on, and flies off instantly… Let’s be prepared!

Pick a good agent that you vibe with, one with experience, negotiation skills, and also super fun to be around because you’re gonna spend some quality time together. (Hi!)

Find an amazing lender to get all the money stuff figured out. I have a couple handfuls of great lenders that I work with and trust. I usually like to connect my clients with two or three, and suggest to have a conversation with each to see which one they feel best working with.

Have some $$ saved! Or start saving. It is possible to get into a home with little to no money, but having a good stack of cash saved is always smart. #EverythingBreaks

Then we can sit down and make our wish list of wants and needs, talk about comfortable price and location, etc. etc.! I like to say just because you’re preapproved for a million bucks doesn’t mean you want to spend a million bucks. So this is when we figure out what the best bang for your buck you can get out there!

It is my job to make sure you get the best house for the best price.

We will go over the home inspection process, earnest money, timelines, etc. but at that point, we hit the ground running and start househunting! Let the fun begin!

I love a good game plan, and it’s always a right time to buy when you’re ready to invest in yourself.

As always, I’m here to support!
