Datenight in Poulsbo

his month I got to participate in a YouTube video production of “Datenight in Poulsbo” with local lender Lee Nguyen with Veterans Lending Group here in Silverdale.

We spent an awesome afternoon in Poulsbo, exploring everything the downtown area has to offer and then filming about it! We started out, of course, at Sluys bakery, eating one of the largest donuts they have. Sadly, I did find out that, at the moment, they are not producing my favorite blueberry cake donut, but hopefully they will sometime in the future.

Next, we did wine tasting at Details Wine Bar, an exclusive Washington only wine tasting room. I enjoyed the flight of white wines while he tasted reds. They switch up the decor of the tasting room, either monthly or quarterly, to keep it fresh!

Next, we made our way to The Loft and enjoyed their clam appetizer. I had the salmon tacos, and Lee had the prawn pesto linguine. This restaurant definitely has the best beach view in town of the marina and waterfront! Funny story, back in the early days of my restaurant working time I worked at what used to be Bayside Broiler. That is now The Loft.

Lastly, we ended up at Mora for their delicious fancy ice cream! I got the mint chocolate chip ice cream, and he had vanilla with espresso poured over. We ate our ice cream, walking along the boardwalk and enjoying the scenery.

Poulsbo is a wonderful little town with tons of food options, and a variety of breweries and wineries! I definitely say it’s Kitsap's foodie capital. Keep an eye out for our video to hit YouTube! Find me there at PNWRealtor360!
